I grew up in the small town of Gobles, Michigan on the west side of the state. Gobles is nothing like Waterford. My home town is so much smaller than Waterford. We didn't even have a stop light until I was a senior in high school. Even then, it was just a blinking light. In my town there was one elementary, one middle school, and one high school. All three buildings shared the same parking lot!
After I graduated high school, I attended Western Michigan University to study Elementary Education. I graduated from Western in December of 2004. I taught for two years in Kalamazoo before I moved to Waterford.
I love to travel, dream up new house projects, read, run, and teach (of course!).
